The Escondido City Council agreed to set up a small group of council members to handle the search for a replacement city attorney, and named Mayor White and Councilmember Christian Garcia to it.
The council voted 5-0 to appoint the two members. Mayor White made the motion and Councilmember J. Garcia seconded it.
