Escondido's library is being asked to approve a new policy covering the community information materials that people and groups outside the library hand in.
The policy would set out how those materials are reviewed, where they are placed or displayed, how they are given out, and when they are taken down. It applies to material submitted by outside individuals, organizations, agencies or groups, and it is a new policy rather than a change to an existing one.
